Many of us wish to only do spiritual work. You might want be a healer , a life coach or even a psychic and you want do that full time. In essence, you wish to remove yourself from the majority of people to only a select few clientele. What is so wrong with walking your spiritual self through the mire of everyday life with others, who most likely aren’t as connected? Wouldn’t it benefit the Greater Good if you helped people through their day from the inside of everyday life, not the outside.
I mentor, do healing work and/or do psychic readings for people in my spiritual practice. I use my intuitive gifts to help others outside my spiritual practice as well. If you have been sent to cross my path and you’re open to keen insights, you might just walk away with a the nugget of information or advice that you were needing. This serves the Greater Good, this serves The One.
This however, is not permission to give unwanted or unsolicited advise! Ever!! To do this is to pretty much force what appears to be your opinion at someone, or at the very least waste your time and theirs.
Wouldn’t it be great if that nurse that is taking care of you in ICU gave you a little Reiki too? How about if your financial counselor asked just the right question to highlight some affairs you need to attend to. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if your cardiologist talked about body, mind and spirit and how you need to pay attention to all those things to live a healthier life. I knew a heart surgeon who would pray before he performed surgery. I know all these honorable people. They are being authentically themselves no matter where they are. They bring their gift of themselves to others without it having to be in a comfortable place. They don’t need to create a cozy space to practice Walking as their Spiritual Self.
We need spiritual people who fearlessly walk in our every day lives. It makes life better for everyone. So, the next time you want to escape the rat-race, live in your cozy space without touching chaos, ask yourself, “Who are your really serving? Who are you really helping?” If you find yourself living in your snug, easy insular world, find a way to step away from it (by all means return there for your clients) but touch the rest of those who cross your path, if it feels like the right thing to do. Remember, its never about you, its about serving them.
