I’ve been working with the belief about being invisible. When you look at one side of a coin you really should look at the other side, for a full and complete picture of yourself. We are multi-faceted beings after all. Logically, one would think the opposite of invisible is visible. What if the opposite is not visible but being SEEN. Not just glanced over and smiled at, what if its being seen down to the Truth of Who You Really Are?
That’s a whole lot deeper than the superficial visual eye someone tosses your way. This is profound in its depth of accepting your authenticity. Are you ready to see yourself fully, to recognize the positive and negative traits about yourself and are you ready to like or even love yourself regardless?
The Wisdom of one I walk with came to me on the streets Lititz, PA the other day, as I walked and smiled to someone. He said, “see, if you weren’t seen, then he (the one I smiled to and returned my smile) couldn’t be seen either.” And the proverbial light-bulb went off. I was walking with the joy of life and a warm heart. That energy just flowed, and this other person just responded to it because he too had it. And if he wasn’t feeling it himself at that moment, then touching him with just a smile and my inner warmth brought it forward for him.
There’s a time and place for invisible, and even visible, but for me, I am embracing being seen. This means I have to acknowledge, own and be accountable for all of myself, because what is SEEN impacts all I touch in my life.
Don’t pass through life being only visible/invisible. Be SEEN, share your Light, spread joy and see how your life turns around because of it.
