Belly Dance with Lisa Raezer
Jan. 13th, 7-8PM (for 10 consecutive Wed. evenings)
After all the cookies and goodies from the holiday season, this is a wonderful way to break in the new year. Not because you made a New Year's resolution, but because this great fun, full of laughs and the benefits of exercise. You'll get into better shape and release some stress along the way.
Belly dance is a ancient and beautiful art form. Besides its natural physical
health benefits, Belly Dancing gifts women the experience of joy and camaraderie
that naturally develops with the other dancers. It is a wonderful form of
self expression that is vital for balanced mind, body and spirit. Lisa will
assist you with basic posture and movements that you can put together for
your own personal dance or within a group setting. This dance is for everyone
regardless of age, shape or experience. The only things you need are comfortable
clothing, a scarf to tie around your hips and a beautiful smile!!
Lisa began the practice of balance and poise 16 years ago with Tai Chi, which she has taught for the last eight years. In 2001, Lisa began the study of Cabaret Style Belly Dancing. Four years ago she discovered the American Tribal Style and has never looked back. Lisa mainly concentrates on the Tribal Style of this dance in her classes.

Oneness Blessing with Rev. Carol Post
Sat. March 13th • 2-4PM
The Oneness Blessing is a non-denominational experience that transfers physical
energy, awakening our connection with the oneness in everything, allowing
each of us to deepen our relationship with those we love, with ourselves,
with strangers, and with our Creator.
The Oneness Blessing initiates a neurobiological change in the brain—the
parietal lobes calm down, the nervous system relaxes, and the senses become
unclouded by the mind’s interpretations. This shift creates a natural
clarity of perception and allows the individual to immediately experience
feelings of joy, inner freedom, and love, regardless of their environment
or background in meditation.
This powerful and unique process has been experienced by leaders of all
the world’s major faiths: the General Secretary of the United Methodist
Church, Reverend Larry Pickens; Islamic scholar and leader, Imam Khorisani;
Founder of the Holocaust memorial, Rabbi Solomon Schiff; the Dalai Lama’s
esteemed delegate, Tenzin; and Personal Secretary to the Pope, Don Massimo.
They have all agreed that the Blessing not only allows them to appreciate
and honor their own faith on a cognitive level, but also experience it on
a physiological level.
Rev Carol Post is an artist who has been studying and practicing
metaphysics for over twenty years. Her studies in metaphysics have led her
to a BS degree and she is presently a PhD candidate.
Her continual dedication to her own spiritual growth and the growth of others
brought her to pursue ordination as an Interfaith Minister at the Pebble
Hill School of Sacred Ministries in December 2002.
In addition to performing creative ceremony and ritual, her ministry includes
spiritual counseling and sharing how spirituality applies to our everyday
lives.
She has completed professional training in the Use of Light and Color for
Deep Healing and practices Color Therapy. She also has completed additional
trainings in Spiritual Psychology, Conflict Resolution, Psychology of the
Chakras, and the use of Bach Flower Remedies.
Combining her love for art and creativity Carol offers “Stepping Into
the Creative Flow” as a course and workshop.
In 2007 she was introduced to the Oneness Blessing and became a Blessing
Facilitator in Fiji in 2008. Her passion is to share the transformation
and growth offered by the Oneness Process.

Full Moon Ceremonies - with Eagle Skyfire
Walking Winds is hosting Eagle Skyfire and her Full Moon Ceremonies.
In the spirit of Love, Honor, & Respect, these sacred ceremonies of
the Taino people are open to all who wish to share fellowship, and prayer.
These rituals are conducted in the tradition of the Caney, the Native peoples
of the Caribbean. The Red Road of all Native Americans throughout the Americas
are honored.
For all Full Moon gatherings you may want to bring something to sit upon.
Rattle, and drums are always welcomed. A wonderful way to celebrate community
is to bring a finger food or non-alcoholic drink to share after Circle.
During Thanksgiving and New Fire ceremonies a covered dish rather than finger
food is requested.
A gift for the celebrant (Eagle Skyfire) is customary. She is in need of
traditional gifts of cedar, sage, natural tobacco, sweet grass, & all
cotton cloth (broad is good) to make prayer robes. One yard of one color
is a fine gift that would be much appreciated. The *solid* colors that she
uses are red, yellow, black, white, light green, dark green, or blue.
Please contact Eagle Skyfire at

Hatha Yoga/Power Yoga/Pilates
Indira Gandhi once said, "You must learn to be still in the midst of activity and to be vibrantly alive in repose." This is what yoga offers to students.
Yoga is an excellent form of moving mediation the strengthens the body,
mind and spirit. As you stretch through a wide range of motion and weight-shifting,
you are continually balancing, and with repetition will enjoy greater flexibility,
build deep core stamina and long, toned muscles. Yoga helps to align the
spine and whole skeletal structure, creates firmer neck muscles, improves
and corrects posture.
Deep breathing techniques expand lung capacity, can lower blood pressure
and will stimulate the circulation.... all this goodness begins with your
breath.
